Extends free, accessible and quality online education support for rural 10th class students as a supplement to school learning. Support includes open source curriculum and other knowledge based content, free online coaching by bright volunteers (Connect with GEMs), motivation and career guidance by persons of national eminence, online exams and awards. Services were provided to 15000 students of 200 government schools as a joint initiative of Aksharadaan,IIT Hyderabad,SCERT,Govt.of Telangana Telangana along with participation of 450 volunteers from 13 institutions.

A cost free digital interface helps to connect dots of needs (thousands of aspiring schools and students) and drops of charities (donors) and render direct transfer of services (no cash transfers) involving easy transparent, robust monitoring and evaluation tools. Aksharadaan do not receive donations to render services but facilitates donors to directly serve academic, cultural and infrastructural needs of schools and students. Protocols are being established involving 400 SSC students of 7 government schools of Sangareddy district in coordination with Dept. Of school Education Sangareddy, Telangana.
